This deck is built around Hallow. Its purpose is to remove one doom each round, thus provides infinite rounds for my teammates to investigate and complete the tasks.

To put 10 tokens in to chaos bag, I combine Rite of Equilibrium, Tempt Fate and Tides of Fate. There are several combos.

Rite(+5/+5), Tide, Hallow.

Rite(+10/+10), Hallow, Tides at the beginning of next round, maybe you can still get to Hallow another time next round.

Tempt Fates*2, Tide, Hallow.

Rite(+10/+10), Hallow, Tide, Hallow again.

To play one of those combos every round, I have to draw cards very quickly. Baker's heirloom helps a lot. Every event played results in another card draw. And there are tons of quick events.

The Rite of Equilibrium is also great at mitigating sanity lose. I take about 3 horrors each round for drawing from empty deck, and holding my weakness in hand. Playing two Rites in a row heals 10 horrors, which is enough to keep me alive.

I just played this deck in the fifth and sixth scenario of TIC with a four-players-team and ended each game with only 6 dooms on the first agenda (or the first set of agenda). It's sort of inspiring as we ran out of time at the fifth scenario twice in a row in previous runs.

Cool deck with neat potential !

You are playing with the regular recto, but with the alternate verso aren't you ?

Some ideas to make it work with the alternate recto :

-heal seems better than resources in most cases, so Healing Words instead of Alchemical Transmutation, even Manipulate Destiny could be nice in this deck. With Relic Hunter you can even add Hallowed Mirror, as Soothing Melody are spells ! Maybe even a Bulletproof Vest ?

-to get the last piece(s) of your combo Word of Command is potentially a 0 to play.

-Dayana Esperence on Rite of Equilibrium, Tides of Fate or even Tempt Fate, can spare you one draw and one damage 3 turns. She has 3 hp, there's that. In the late scenario, you probably won't need two Arcane Initiates anyway. If things don't go according to plan, Ward of Protection and Deny Existence are great targets.

-Expensive but interesting enough: Seal of the Elder Sign is a way to autosuccess of course, but also heal quickly a damage and thin out your deck if you want to cycle it. (Even with the regular version of Agnes Baker)

The objective for this Bad blood Agnes Baker is to reach potentially 3-4 last cards Hallow Tides of Fate Rite of Equilibrium or Tempt Fate. Would need a good healer though, as you take 3 damage at least in the process.

With 25 (+3) cards in your deck, and with that heavy draw engine, this ideal situation could happen pretty fast (like 4-6turns) BUT, you will often get tempted to put cards back into your deck.

All of this is more theoretical than practical of course.

HOW ABOUT The Red-Gloved Man ? fast and 4/4 take damage

This is a nice inclusion, however not cheap in xp, occupies an ally slot, but arguably better than the Seal of the Elder Sign.

Also, this deck is already 34 XP worth, there's not many campaign that would allow you to create a more expensive version ...

For cheaper version, use the lv.0 version of Arcane Initiate, Alchemical Transmutation. The lv.0 transmutation isn't good for getting resource but is still useful as it's a cheap spell and makes your deck thinner. If your basic weakness stays in your threat area you may cut off Ikiaq. The second Hallow and Alter Fate is optional when you don/t have enough xp.

So at minimum exp cost. grab 2 Rite of Equilibrium and 1 Hallow and you are good to go. This version cost 34XP merely because that's how it looks like in our playthrough at that point.

Could Mateo run this same deck without many changes? Would Dayana Esperance be more useful than Ikiaq?

Baker's Heirloom would offer about 3~4 draws per turn, which is crucial. And Mateo's signature weakness is a monster which could be annoying sometimes. I think Mateo can't follow the same playstyle. But of course, Mateo could take A Watchful Peace, use Totem and Signum Crucis to add tokens and use Dayana to play multiple hallows before shuffling his deck. But that should be a different build.

Ikiaq could either be necessary or useless depends on your basic weakness. You can't run this deck with some weakness like Your Worst Nightmare and without Ikiaq. Dayana could be helpful if your weakness is a mild one like The 13th Vision, Haunted or Indebted.
