  • Q: What happens when I use Cosmic Revelation's ability while an investigator has a card with an undefined cost (-) in their hand? A: Cards with an undefined cost (-) are not considered to have an even or odd cost while in hand. As such, they cannot be revealed nor played via the effect of Cosmic Revelation. Cosmic Revelation turns a Play Action and a card in your hand into one Draw or Play action for each player at your table. Assuming you value every card in your hand as being worth one action, Cosmic Revelation's value scales proportional to the player count:

Personally, I tend to play 3-Player or 4-Player campaigns, so I expect Cosmic Revelation to become a staple at my table. Even if no one at the table needs (or can't afford) to play cards from their hand, free card draw is almost always helpful.

I would add that in 2+ player games you give other players the possibility to play a card during your turn. And with Farsight, you can play Cosmic revelation as a free action and get an other player to play a soak before you try to attack an enemy with Retaliate (for example). — AlexP · 261
