Joe Diamond - Back

Дослідник

Deck Size: 30.

Deckbuilding Options: Seeker cards () level 0-5, Guardian cards () level 0-2, Neutral cards level 0-5.

Deckbuilding Requirements (do not count toward deck size): Detective's Intuition, Dead Ends, 1 random basic weakness.

Joe Diamond has more experience with supernatural nonsense than most. He has developed a keen intuition and a knack for getting to the bottom of even the most uncanny occurrences, helped in no small part by his willingness to get his hands dirty. But in recent weeks, even Joe has been hard-pressed to stay on top of his work. His desk is flooded with photos of grisly murders and reports of disappearances: people from all walks of life vanishing without a trace. Joe isn't sure how each of these events is connected, but he's not about to let the case go cold.

look how they massacred my boy....From one of the most interesting investigators in the entire game with his hunch deck, they made him the most generic investigator ever. Not very innovative for a 10 year old game if you ask me

I think it is fine: Joe is meant to be the Roland/Daisy of the new core set, so he is intetionally design to be really simple to pick up. I do agree this version of him is super boring compared to his chapter 1 version, but he does the job to tutorial new players into the game. — HeroesOfTomorrow · 92
I do feel that the current team might be too risk adverse in their designs. — FlamingoFeathers · 1

Is this a joke? Nerfing good ol hardboiled Joe down to the ground with similar Milan Christopher's effect but a card draw instead?

Loren ipsum del toro yada yada in order to make this review 200 words long because I am speechless that Fantasy Flight Game not only massacred Joe, but they cut off his manhood and made wimp out of the corpse

Have you actually tried him? Plus one card per turn for doing what you want to do in-class is amazing. And his old signature, the pistols, didn't scale at all. By scenario 4, they couldn't easily take down the monsters and were super expensive. — MrGoldbee · 1543
Not to forget, that they block both of his hands for most other weapons. — Tharzax · 1
"Nerfing" is definitely the wrong wording. They made him powerful in a boring way, that understandably might disappoint seasoned players. — Susumu · 389

hi, just finish the 4th ah. i find out this is the strongest character i had played, maybe he is the strongest character in ah. so i just want to comment about this op character's infinity combo.

1st find away to power up your book status, use Feed the mind lv 3 + delay the inevitable to all the horrors , draw all the cards in your deck and grave.

2nd use knowledge is power to fast active your spell or book cards abilities in hand or field.

3rd use draw effect cards to draw cards from your empty deck to take back knowledge is power. than you will get an infinity fast play.

you can combo with forbidden tome, infinity move and take 1 clue without action point. combo with the necronomicon, infinity pick any opened location clue or damage engaged enemy. or other spell or book's card .

i already use this deck and end the 4th episode. only problem is about the teammates feeling.

Very few of there are the actual rulebook terms, so...maybe? — MrGoldbee · 1543
Also Sound Like you aim to keep most of your cards on your hand to cycle faster trough your deck. So you need the usual tech like the dream enhancing serum and some horror heal — Tharzax · 1
