BASICS Zero XP deck.... This deck uses the -2 Sanity from Arcane Research and St. Hubert's Key to leave Patrice at a 3 Sanity. This allows her to use the 4 x Icon cards (reckless assault, say your prayers, run for your life, and desperate search).
Horror Management Quantum Flux helps you avoid any more horror from your deck been all drawn. This is the same reason I chose to use Peter instead of Madame Labranche. Peter may later on be upgraded to give you +1 willpower which will make your spells stronger and shield you from the encounter deck.
Encounter Deck With her 4 Willpower, Patrice can handle the encounter deck like most mystics. To help her do so, St. Huberts key will give her a boost to her skills, and Deny Existence will protect her further.
Clues With an intellect of 2... you'll need tons of help, but that's where all those skill cards come in play. St. Hubert's key and Newspaper will give her an intellect of 5 for the first clue and you'll have 6 skill cards which could help you (provided you have 3 Sanity with St. Hubert's key) Alternatively, you can also have Rite of Seeking as an option, which will really bump her clue finding skills. If you do that I recommend using Enraptured to boost some charges on your spells. Drawn to the Flame also helps.
Resources Her violin will be great for giving you resources since you have to discard cards anyway. Drawing Thin will be used for resources taking advantage of those 4 icon skill cards and anytime you commit 2 or 3 cards to a skill test. You'll discard all your cards anyway, so just spam the skill tests and get your extra 2 resources, or 4 resources if you have 2 copies in play.
Also, you could choose to take out Peter and put in Madame Labranche (especially if you're doing a 4 scenario campaign.. the odds of her being driven insane completely are cut in half) is also a great combo to get 3 resources per turn.... but because you need to have zero resources for her to work you can start from zero resources, exhaust her and get one resource. Then upkeep resource and start of next round, violin resource = 3 resources... then as long as you spend all of them you'll have another 3 for next round.... I didn't include her though because since I don't have Scapper yet in this zero xp deck... I would really only have the Fire ax I could pump those resources into... so perhaps in an xp deck I'll include her as well as a Charisma.
Evade You'll evade with the help of the skill cards and Mists of R'lyeh.... since the only downside is discarding a card, there really isn't much of a downside for Patrice.
Fight Shriveling and Fire Ax are your best friends here. Violin and Fire Ax work nicely together.
Extras
Impromptu and Improvised are great for Patrice because they can be played from her discard pile.
