I'm a beginner at the game and wish to play with two core games. This is the first deck I'm building at will try it, see if it's any good or not.
Skids works best as a fighter then evader :) From the core investigators he has access to two different attack boosting cards which are physical training (guardian) and hard knocks (rouge). For solo Skids you should have 2x physical training, 2x hard knocks, 2x burglary, 2x machete, 2x vicious blow, 2x dodge, 2x dynamite blast, 2x 41 derringer, 2x switch blade (good as an early defense against crypt chill), 2x evidence, 2x perception, 2x guts, 2x emergency cache, 2x guts, 2x unexpected courage, 2x elusive.
Sneak attack deals 2 attack at the cost of 2 actions (evade + play sneak) Machette, switchblade and derringer can do that much in 1 action.
Skids can generate resources by playing burglary at shroud 1 locations to gain +3 resources (you can investigate locations even when they don't have clues on them) And having 4 attack boosting cards (2x phsysical training and 2x hard knocks) making him even far better damage dealer then Roland in the terms of consistancy. When you fight using derringer or switchblade try to have 4 points higher then the enemy. If enemy has 2 attack commit + attack cards or pay resources (if you have hard knocks or physical in play) so you end up having 6 to deal 2 damage per attack. This shouldn't be a problem for Skids since cache gives him resources (3), his elder sign gives him (2), burglary gives him (3 per success) and later hot streak gives 10 (7 really since you have to pay 3 to play). Sorry for long post :)
