I'd mulligan away any of the skills other than Take Heart and any event other than Winging It. Ideally, a starting hand would have Drawing Thin, Lucky Cigarette Case (or Rabbit's Foot if going that route) or Flashlight, and Peter Sylvestre or Track Shoes in it.
