The idea with this deck is to only do Agility skill tests when Fighting and Investigating and reliably have a success margin of at least 2 to trigger effects on cards that are conditional to success.

Early on, use The Painted World to duplicate the events tucked under Sefina. Priority is to trigger money generating events (Hot Streak, Pay Day or Emergency Cash) at the start of the game to get set up for High Roller and Well Connected as well as to quickly put in play assets. Extra copies of The Painted World may be used to gather clues (Intel Report, Read the Signs) or do damage (Backstab), if needed.

For fighting, the goal is to recycle Backstab. The target is to succeed by at least 2 to trigger its reaction and return it to hand instead of discarding. Having 2 Backstabs in hand can potentially deal 6 damage in one turn, which will be the main way to deal damage. High Roller and and Skill cards will help do these overkills.

Delilah O'Rourke can provide alternative means of dealing damage to exhausted enemies.

For investigating, Lockpicks can reliably provide 1 clue per turn or 2 if both are in play. When coupled with High Roller and Well Connected, it can handle high shroud locations with low chances of getting discarded.

Gather clues efficiently using Read the Signs and Intel Report, these can be duplicated using The Painted World when tucked under Sefina.

  • Use High Roller and Well Connected at every possible skill test to increase chances of triggering card effects that are conditional to success.

  • Opportunist would play into the 'succeed high at skill tests and return card to hand' strategy. Thereby, getting multiple uses out of this skill card.

  • Daring Maneuver can help push you to the success margin you need.

  • Capitalizing on over succeeding tests, Lucky Cigarette Case will help you find the cards you need.

  • The Moon tarot card is a boost to agility, which can potentially be played at no cost if drawn in the opening hand.

  • Lone Wolf can provide passive resource generation. While Gregory Gry can be leveraged on successful skill tests to generate additional resources.

  • "Watch this!" is another card that can generate resources while boosting skill tests.

  • Haste can add actions to the turn.
