I was playing with Carolyn's badly constructed deck in the second scenario of Carcosa.

And Silas Marsh just went in town! Killing elite enemies, accidentally finding clues, and evading every adversity that the game threw at him.

At that point, I'd come to realize that Silas Marsh was and might be the best investigator that the team at FF had come out with.
