You can see here for what I typically do with Mark. Gonna mix it up a little for Scarlet Keys, I have yet to play this campaign. Playing a one and one with a friend playing an investigating "Ashcan" Pete. I'm sick of lookin' at Tempt Fate.

There are enemies in Scarlet Keys that vacuum your cards out of the game, so it may be interesting another weapon or gun for consistency. With Prepared for the Worst and a mulligan you should be able to find the .45 Thompson most of the times in the first rounds since you're aiming for 4 cards in your opening hand, but I would add Machete or the .32 Colt because of the nature of this campaign, and they are cheaper and easier to play weapons.

In this expansion there is a neat event for Mark. Kicking the Hornet's Nest is ideal for the times Mark won't be able to investigate while granting you a clue testless and money if you pull an enemy, I don't know if you have considered it. The Dilemmas Predator or Prey and Making Preparations are options, too, but not as optimal as Kicking the Hornet's Nest . From older cycles, if the Ashcan player does not run it, since you are playing the .45 Thompson, maybe Act of Desperation would be a good idea too for an extra kick in harder enemies.

Besides that, it seems to be a powerful deck. Hunter's Armor will let you soak a lot of damage for you and the other player while you follow them with Safeguard and do a little support in the higher Shroud locations with Breach the Door.

Hope you upload your xp version when you finished smacking The Scarlet Keys!

@rodro Thanks for the advice! We're playing with literally all the standalones thrown in, haha, so who knows where it will end up. I may retool this deck a bit before we start tomorrow morning, thanks for the help.
