This deck is designed to be able to die on turn 1 consistantly and in the rare occurances that it is unable to, should be able to do so on turn 2 or 3. Therefore it is useless for solo play.

The main way to lose is to mulligan until you get either Ghastly Revelation (the easiest way to lose) or no stone unturned to tutor the Ghastly Revelation. The two studious is just to get to look at extra cards before the game starts. If you do not have either in your hand at the start of the game then you simply use all of the draw in this deck to get to either the tutor or the actual ghastly revelations making sure to save at least one action.

In the thick of it can be set to 2 physical trauma in order to allow harvey's weakness to be able to kill him with only 15 cards in hand instead of 21. The third loss condition is to activate feed the mind to drive yourself insane which is easier for every mental trauma previously gained.

But if you are able to get either of the two in your opening hand, then the goal of this deck is to use their two remaining actions in order to help the other investigators by using scroll of secrets on them or drawing them cards, letting them tutor for a card or by moving them.
