This is a somewhat goofy deck concept that I imagined while bored at work. I have no idea if it's useful in any way, but it was at least fun to come up with, and might be a nice change of pace for larger groups.

The deck is a "fighter"- sort of. The goal isn't to kill monsters, but instead to herd them into a corner of the map where they can't do much harm. A more humane approach to enemy management than Shriveling them, that's for certain.

The key card of the deck is a fully loaded Makeshift Trap. The trap can pin enemies in place thanks to its net for up to 3 turns with it's increased tripwire. I built it for quickness and ease of use, but it might be better to remove the Simple and Tripwire upgrades, and commit to an Explosive Device as a "finisher"

The other key card is Survival Technique, which allows you to pick up your various traps and re-use them as needed for your monster herding. It also combos with Shrine of the Moirai for a nice little recursion engine at the cost of encounter cards.

To assist in corralling the monsters, Lure and Bait and Switch both make it possible to push enemies into the trap without having to go there ourselves. If you do have to be in a spot with a bunch of enemies, Hiding Spot, Elaborate Distraction, Lightfooted, and Survival Instinct allows you and other investigators to cross the monster sanctuary unmolested.

Driving the deck's economy is On Your Own, which makes almost all of your events free, leaving you to only have to pay for the occasional asset. Take Heart helps here as well.

Perseverance and Talisman of Protection are there to cover your terrible 5 Sanity, while not taking an action to play. Dirty Fighting and Enchanted Bow are for when a monster needs to be put down (the Bow can fire into the sanctuary from a safe location, an added bonus). Finally, Long Shot and Track Shoes are just strong cards.

This deck as built is probably overcommitted to it's theme, is weak to Elites, and has no clue gathering potential. However, I can think of campaigns and scenarios where being able to handle monsters without killing them is a real boon, and especially in higher player count games, Rita can handle a whole menagerie by herself.

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for reading!
