In preparation for Arkham Con 2025 I have taken it upon myself to make a series of pre-made Standalone decks all with different alt-art treatments. What started with a goal of 3 decks, a flex, cluever, and goon, blossomed into 7 with a range of wild designs. Here is a link to some low res files so you can see what they look like: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J-EYuY12iov-oja2xg88ubVSyOuZRmfr?usp=sharing
Don't forget to check out the other decks, and say hey at Arkham Con if you see me! I might even have a an alt-art surprise for you. ;)
This deck has some Curse shenanigans, but really the star of the show is Farsight chucking out 13 events at fast speed. The lineup of events has some range and utility to handle a variety of situations. Monty's ability, Gabriel, Lucky Cig Case, and skills from Ancestral Knowledge will ensure the hand fills quickly and stays full. Big thing to keep in mind with this is don't overdue it with playing/committing all your cards. You got the movement from Pathfinder to always be activating your investigator ability. So cunning movement/planning and boosts from Fox Mask and Higher Education should end in a high success rate of investigation. Faustian and Gabriel will generate incidental Curse tokens, so Blasphemous Covenant is there to mitigate any issues caused to you by those. This is a selfish deck, that can do some heavy lifting in scenarios, but still requires a deft hand with plenty of planning to tap it's full potential for momentum.
For the art of this deck I went straight to the inspiration for the investigator, Indiana Jones. Easily one of the most time consuming ones that I made, often requiring me to go frame by frame to find the screen captures I needed for the cards. Wasn't sure at first how I was going to like the live action images, but think it works quite nicely in the end. As an extra bit of flair, all the flavor text has also been replaced with movie quotes. Can't wait to play this one in some Forgotten Age standalones!
