Jenny is a rich and powerful woman that gets what she wants. She also isn't afraid to skirt the law or cheat if it helps her. She bought the coolest weapons to solve this mystery with the Ornate Bow and Dynamite Blast. She will use her power of Suggestion to get away from enemies. She also doesn't like to ordinary tasks like investigating so she will be buying clues along the way because you know... She is rich.

This deck is very different than my earlier Elite Cluever/Evader Jenny deck although there are some familiar elements. One big change is that this deck only includes the Core, Dunwich and Forgotten Age (and Return to Carcosa). It is designed for some standalone games to be played at Dice Tower Cruise and TantrumCon and I didn't want to bring cards from every expansion on the trip just in case I misplaced something.

The expectation is that we will play the standalone games on Standard but I am confident that this deck can handle Hard. Player count will likely be 3-4p but this deck is flexible enough to handle true solo or 2p with a change or two (Lone Wolf.

Jenny's goal is to evade, kill things with the Ornate Bow from afar and buy clues. She will still be rich but if Lola Santiago is in play then she will be spending those resources just as fast as she earns them.

Here is my earlier elite cluever/evader deck with Jenny. I still like this one a little more but Lockpicks weren't available for this build (no Carcosa cards) so that creates a very different deck. The Skeleton Key might be a good replacement for Lockpicks. https://arkhamdb.com/decklist/view/17892/jenny-barnes-elite-cluever-evader-feat-alice-luxley-1.0

Evasion

Jenny's goal is to never be attacked by the enemy. Lola and Cat Burglar boost her raw agility stat but Suggestion creates a near auto evade. She can also escape combat using the Cat Burglar's special ability.

Combat

Jenny's Twin .45s will be nothing more than skill icons. This deck isn't designed to boost and they won't be very useful except for the weakest enemies. The Ornate Bow however is setup to be boosted up to a 7 with several skill cards to boost it higher. She can't be the primary fighter in a 3-4p group but her evasion and Bow can handle more than her share of enemies.

Economy and Card Draw

She will be pretty rich but not nearly as rich as some Jenny builds including my elite cluever/evader build. She will also draw a lot of cards with LCCand Pickpocketing. This is my first play with the Lucky Cigarette Case. I am not certain it is as great as claimed but card draw is more important in this deck than the previous deck so I hope to be drawing through the deck faster than before. Backpack is an option since the The Skeleton Key and Ornate Bow are so powerful but there are only a couple of other items in the deck to search for.

Clue Gathering

Jenny will be able to investigate for some clues on standard mode once #Lola is out but she only wants to buys clues. The Skeleton Key adds some additional clue gathering for the group but it is exceptional and will be hard to find in the deck.

Special Challenge

Jenny's signature cards are oddly designed and don't really fit her well especially for standalone play. One set include a campaign weakness and the other set includes a campaign signature card. For "fun" I will be using the Jenny's Twin .45s and the Vengeful Hound even though the Vengeful Hound can be a crushing weakness depending on when and where it comes out.

Concerns

The encounter deck could cause some horror issues if there are a lot of but Jenny will just have to rely on her two allies to absorb as much of that as possible. She also doesn't expect to be attacked much so that should help.

Let me know what you think of this Jenny deck. She is one of my favorite investigators and this looks like a fun deck to play.
