This deck is still to be tested and I took into account on not adding taboo cards like Double or Nothing.
With some new cards coming out and with Dexter Drake you can finally be a really Combat handler (or clue gatherer if you wanna go the other route, like Clairvoyance; Rite of Seeking) and not be scared of not having the spells in your hand because you can play them with Dexter Drake and later on also with Robes of Endless Night.
So first of all, lets talk about assets. Dexter Drake can play assets with doom like Arcane Initiate or David Renfield and not be scared because as soon as it becomes dangerous you can just use his to discard it and play another Asset (has to be a different one), thats why this deck has so many of them, to make use of his ability, and he will play them cheap by reducing its cost by one from his .
Molly Maxwell will be your Big Card and this is the reason why I like Dexter Drake so much. This is a very fun mechanic and its very strong once you know ALL THE TRAITS of your cards so you can fish them using Molly Maxwell for the cost of 1 horror on her. Liquid Courage and Fearless are here to help you with that. This ally is so powerfull that makes you have any card you want in that specific occasion and this deck has many different traits making it easy to really pin point the cards you want and have them in your hand for a . Thats why there's Calling in Favors in this deck so you can fish Molly Maxwell easier and get rid of David Renfield or Arcane Initiate doom in the way.
Now lets talk a bit about the cards and their traits (to be updated)
I've been playing aroud with Dexter a bit lately and I really like Switchblade for him. Even the level 0 version is good because it's fast, so you can get it into play immediately and then you have fodder for a fast switcheroo later on. Really good action compression. The upgraded version is better though, because this gives him an alternative weapon that still sees him fighting at 5. He can't guarantee getting the extra damage at that level, but as a means of dealing with odd health enemies and conserving charges from the combat spells it's pretty great.
