Jen of All Trades

This is a talent-focused build for Jenny. If you can get both Hard Knocks and Arcane Studies into play then Jenny can use her plentiful resources to boost any skill she needs and reliably succeed at tests.

The centerpiece of this deck is Dr. Milan Christopher. A common criticism of Jenny is that her 3-3-3-3 stat line leaves her without an area that she's especially good at. Dr. Milan brings Jenny's Intellect up to 4 to make her a reliable clue-gatherer. The free resource he gives you for a successful investigation means that with Arcane Studies in play Jenny can basically investigate at a skill of 5 free of cost. He also enables her to earn 4 credits per Burglary (if we're dreaming big, we might occasionally get a Burglary for 7 credits using our Double or Nothing on a low-shroud location). Mulligan to try to get Dr. Milan out early.

The deck also runs a high count of skill cards to further compensate for Jenny's statline, including 6 that replace themselves with a card draw on a successful test.

Both .41 Derringer and Jenny's Twin .45s give +2 boosts so once you get one equipped you'll be able to bring a Combat of 5 into your fights. Switchblade is just a backup option; if you're in a pinch, you should be able to afford to get its damage bonus by boosting with Hard Knocks.

I am only running 1 copy of Arcane Studies. Although it's fun to be able to boost any stat I don't think it's critical to have it out early, especially with Dr. Milan. With Guts and the like you'll be digging through your deck a bit so with luck you'll find Arcane Studies before long. Even if you don't, you should be fine.
