This is a specialized strike-anywhere, kill-anything deck. It is playtested to solo an old one on 4 hard mode.
A guardian with only one weapon defies conventional wisdom, especially one as risky as the The Hungering Blade, but Mr. "Rook" really does a great job finding it in practice. Since this particular Guardian's role is solely to hunt and destroy God's enemies, getting kills on the blade isn't that much of a problem, but the process of getting powered up each game can be a little stressful.
However, once you have a comfortable blood-of-the-wicked buffer, things start to smooth out. As cars eventually start falling into place you become an invincible 20 health, 19 sanity, 11 instrument of holy wrath.
This deck can certainly hit a few pitfalls, notably its inability to pick up clues and nuisances like Conglomeration of Spheres. The clues issue could probably be mitigated with Grete Wagner in place of one or both beat cops, but that was handled for me in this campaign so I wasn't worried about anything but chopping up villains.
The rogue card "Let God sort them out..." is both thematic and useful in paying for this deck. There's also a really cool play where that card and two copies of Galvanize are set aside on Stick to the Plan. This makes it much easier to find enough actions to do all the requisite damage and still put down the victory card.
Ultimately, this concept worked out just fine. This was occasionally a stressful deck to run, but when things finally get online it feels good to be able to kill just about anything.
