Just upgrade everything!
Do Sign Magick to heal and fight/investigate at the same time. Always get 4 additional xp via both permanents. Upgrade everything to better stuff at lightning speed. If you have The Codex of Ages in hand, and the resources to make something guaranteed, just keep doing that with Shrine of the Moirai.
Healing with arcane slots is primary. St. Hubert's Key & Hallowed Mirror secondary.
Primary upgrades after two scenarios of 6/7xp a piece (total 21xp):
- 6 Sign Magick
- 2 Backpack
- 4 Rite/Shriv lvl 2
- 6 Arcane Initiate
- 3 Scroll of Secrets
a full upgrade is 71 experience, discounted 4 for each scenario. Lets say average 6 experience per scenario, so it fits into a 8 scenario campaign.

Dec 23, 2021It's pretty much a collection of good cards, that get better once upgraded. Doing good/high value things is nice. Having most of the upgrades in at deck creation negates the Down the Rabbit Hole downside as much as possible. The deck has a support element with healing while still doing fighting/investigation through Sign Magick. Put in more rite/shriv for a different focus. |
Dec 23, 2021Yea I see it right now being super great at support and healing but not a lot of proactive moves, I'd just be so worried to not draw shriv/rite and be stuck only supporting, think my approach would be a little less event heavy. I would probably swap Dayana and Hallowed for some mid level spells perhaps, but now I am trying to think of how many other characters can get the max 28xp from the perms. |
is this just a test of how high xp a deck you can make? I am a little confused as what the deck actually does once it would hit a table.
