My approach to REX is still in the testing phase.
The character is prepared for a 3-player game. At the moment we are playing in pairs with Marek and Sefina (link to Sefina here).
The main idea is, of course, to collect clues. Flashlight + Magnifying Glass + Dr. Milan Christopher so it's a classic combo. Add to it Working a Hunch, Seeking Answers.
Burglary + Dr. Milan Christopher provides money and Scavenging helps to make Flashlight infinite.
In addition to collecting clues, Rex's role varies depending on the situation. Thanks to Forced Learning Rex, he adjusts his tactics by selecting cards that currently suit him.
Guidance Logical Reasoning and Bizarre Diagnosis should be used to help Guardian who's protecting Rex. Fire Axe helps Rex to fight with weak enemies + "I've got a plan!" and [Anatomical Diagrams] Mind over Matter(/card/03108) may be helpful with any others.
After the night of the fanatic I must say this deck is fun to play, easygoing but also full of interesting choices. Enjoy and see you in the Carcossa (where Rex is going next).
