4 Player Compatible

I've seen a lot of requests for 4 player compatible decks for Brethren of Ash (i.e. requiring one core set) - this is my take on it. This deck is playtested as it's functionally the same as my previous Trish deck, all others aren't as I don't play 4 player (but they will work haha!). I'll keep these guides briefer than normal!

NOTE: The version issue persists on ArkhamDB where you can't post decks with new versions of old cards. Please use Ch2 cards of the same name in all cases.

Stats
Clue-finding:  ★★★★★
Consistency:  ★★★★☆
Enemy Management:  ★★★★☆
Encounter Defense:  ★★☆☆☆
Survivability:  ★★★☆☆
Simplicity:  ★★★★☆

Role: Clue-finder ("cluever"), evader.

Concepts and Combos: Draw cards with Lucky Cigarette Case, move around with Olivier Bishop, find clues with Magnifying Glasses plus Dorothy Simmons, and occasionally shoot things with M1903 Hammerless (which you can install with Prestidigitation fast if you need to). The only change to my original Trish deck is swapping Unexpected Courage for Guts, please see a more detailed version of this guide by clicking what you're reading right now!

Drawbacks: Black Chamber Operative is always a pain, while there's a ways to counter play him here having someone else kill him is advisable. This deck doesn't have a load of sanity soak and icons for relevant treacheries, Dexter can however heal horror off of you to a good degree.

Campaign starter and planned progression

For the starter deck, please remove any XP bearing cards and instead use the cards listed in the side deck (permanent XP bearing cards aren't replaced with anything). A recommended order of purchases/upgrades is:

Final thoughts

Hope you enjoy something that works for four player (I'm lazily going to use this outro on all decks!). For more optimal decks for lower player counts, I would suggest using the fully playtested decks I posted previously. Let me know what you think...
