The Miskatonic Dropout

This is a multiplayer deck that utilizes Peter Sylvestre's horror heal to circumvent the drawback of Forbidden Knowledge. Most of these resources will be sunk in to Fire Axe attacks (or optionally Arcane Studies if you prefer it over Scrying). This deck is one of four player decks sharing 2 core sets (Daisy, Roland, Jenny). If you do not have this limitation, feel free to change to taste.

Basic Strategies

• You can place the horror from Forbidden Knowledge and Painkillers on Peter Sylvestre.
• Peter Sylvestre level 2 should be your first upgrade.
• Don't be afraid to trash Item cards from hand to unexhaust Duke. You can use Scavenging to bring them back when you successfully investigate.
• Magnifying Glass boosts Duke's investigate ability.
• Arcane Studies or Scrying are fun options. I like Scrying because without a word, I get to reach across the table, pick up another player's deck and rearrange it. The reaction is worth it alone.
• This deck is designed to pick up the slack in whatever area the other 3 players need help with most. We are running with 2 damage dealers and 1 seeker along with this deck. For instance, other players in my group have Dynamite Blast, so Bait and Switch helps push enemies around for a combo.

Other Notes

• I tested this deck with Scrapper but found it was a little overkill/redundant with Fire Axe. If anyone has upgrade ideas for this deck besides Peter, feel free to comment with them.
• I usually mulligan to find Scavenging, Peter Sylvestre and/or Magnifying Glass.
• I like to hold on to Rise to the Occasion for "boss" enemies.
