This Deck was originally taken from @Valokiloren, kudos to him/ her. I modified it a bit as I wanted to run the new Innsmouth assets Armageddon and Eye of Chaos to see how they work. I like Dexter Drake's versatility changing his assets and adapting easily to whatever is needed in a certain situation, provided the right card draw.

This deck focuses more on Combat than on clue-gathering, as I plan to pair it with a seeker-build of Trish Scarborough and a Sister Mary combat deck where my group isn't sure that the nun can do it, but I included one copy of Eye of Chaos just in case. For combat it uses one copy each of Shrivelling, Azure Flame and Armageddon, together with 2 copies of Sword Cane. The latter is a fast hit that doesn’t use any action if you pair it with Dexter Drake's ability, doesn't exhaust after the first use and doesn't occupy an arcane slot.

Scroll of Prophecies and Arcane Initiate provide the necessary card draw.

For the necessary willpower boost in a mystic deck there is Holy Rosary together with Guts, Unexpected Courage and Promise of Power. As soon as you upgrade, change one copy of Holy Rosary for one copy of Four of Cups, so that you can run both simultaneously for a persistent +2 willpower boost.

Liquid Courage is there for healing. As we start our game with two mental traumata due to 2 Arcane Researches, it can come in handy. Deny Existence and Ward of Protection are put in to have some Encounter-Deck control and Obfuscation provides some protection in battle.

David Renfield provides plenty ressources, the more doom on him the better. Exhaust him every turn and just make sure to discard him in time with Dexter Drake, before the doom on him would risk to advance the agenda. Robes of Endless Night gives you an extra discount on spell cards, which can be combined nicely with Dexter Drake's ability, so basically you get one free action per turn to play an asset from your hand at the cost of -2, without even provoking attacks of opportunity. Uncage the Soul provides a one time discount of -3 for spells.

Leo De Luca is probably best used in the late part of a scenario where having an extra action really can count. If you want to run him the entire game you will need an upgrade to Charisma, as the ally slot is needed for providing ressources with David Renfield.
