The Yorick Labranche Industrial Complex aims at being an enemy wrangler, team tank and, with upgrades, supporting clue finder and test-passer.
This deck is not aimed at breaking the game. Just digging up graves and fighting the Mythos.
Short Supply + Yorick's ability and discard-synergetic events provide consistency and flexibility by making the discard pile an extension of the hand.
The deck builds around persistent and reusable skill boosts:
- Cornered •• is supported by A Glimmer of Hope and Madame Labranche.
- Well Prepared is supported by multiple double-icon assets (se notes).
- Plucky ••• is protected by Guard Dog •• and Enchanted Armor ••.
- Dark Horse is enabled by Fire Axe and pay-to-boost cards like Physical Training •• and Plucky •••. DH is mitigated by Madame Labranche.
Mulligan for a weapon and skill boost assets. Keep Madame Labranche and Bury Them Deep (the only card you don't want Short Supplied).

Cornered ••
When in a fight you're going to win, feed any asset from hand to Cornered and play that asset when the enemy is defeated. Reuse the 3x A Glimmer of Hope and Madame Labranche shamelessly.
Guiding Spirit •
With 6 ally assets and eventually 3 ally slots, keep in mind to manage the Guiding Spirits so that they get replaced by another ally rather than get defeated by horror and exiled.
Under Consideration
- 2x Beat Cop •• instead of 2x Guard Dog ••. The cops are better but this deck runs on fumes and that 4-cost might be functionally unplayable with Dark Horse on the board and no burst economy.
- 2x Lantern •• instead of 2x Old Keyring •••. Test-less damage is nice but the real tradeoff is permanent -1 shroud vs. 3-off -2 shroud that has to be dug up from the grave.
- Keep 2x Winging It (i.e. find something else to upgrade into Plucky •••) and go for 2x Flashlight ••• instead of the other investigation items (Old Keyring ••• & Lantern ••). This would deprive Well Prepared of two assets though.
- 1x Jessica Hyde •. Damage regen goes well with the Guard Dog •• ability. Helps keep Plucky ••• safe. Another ally would also make playing around the Exile clause of Guiding Spirit • easier.
- Upgrade 1x Dark Horse into Unscrupulous Loan ••• once the upgrade map is complete. 10 resources on tap might be more useful than +1 to all skills while broke at that point.
