Introduction
I play Rex Murphy in the campaign The Path to Carcosa with three other players. We are playing The Path to Carcosa for the first time so please don't write any spoilers. This is my deck that was inspired by other decks. I will write down the progress of the campaign here.
Please give me some feedback on my deck
Why Rex Murphy?
I play with:
- William Yorick
- Akachi Onyele
- and with one Rouge => Will be updated
Because we play with a Survivor , i decided to play Rex Murphy instead of Minh Thi Phan, since our Survivor uses a lot of cards that would also be very good for Minh Thi Phan.
Upgrade Path
This is my planned update path, this can and probably will change.
- 1x Higher Education (3XP)
- 1x Strange Solution => 1x Strange Solution Acidic (4XP)
- 2x Hyperawareness => 2x Forewarned (2XP)
- 2x Shortcut => 2x Pathfinder (2XP)
- 2x Eureka! or 2x Guidance => 2x In the Know (2XP)
- What suits me better
- 2x Deduction => 2x Deduction (4XP)
- 1x Strange Solution => 1x Strange Solution Acidic (4XP)
- 2x Eureka! or 2x Guidance => 2x Seeking Answers (4XP)

I think you're missing out by not taking full advantage of the five non-Seeker cards that you're allowed (from the deck title, I assume that you are using only the base game, Dunwich, and Carcosa). Lucky! will get you out of some pinches, and is probably better than Guidance, since you want Rex to be investigating as much as possible. Daring Maneuver effectively triggers Rex's ability, so it might as well be a free additional clue; this could probably replace "I've got a plan!", since your fighters should be worrying about causing damage instead of you.
