Overview

This deck was built for a multiplayer The Forgotten Age campaign that included investigators Leo Anderson and Diana Stanley. As no player wanted to be a primary seeker...here we are.

You can see the 0XP version of this deck here.

Searching

In an ideal world, your searching rig consists of playing the following cards:

Because of the 2 Lockpicks in play, twice a turn Finn can search with a base 12. In general, your search should be high enough to prevent losing any supplies off of the Lockpicks. Double or Nothing can help pull clues off the board faster since your base search can get so high.

Combining this search strategy with your money generator can easily allow you to buy a clue (via Lola) once per turn, thereby netting you a 3rd clue in a turn.

Money Generation

In an ideal world, your money generation rig consists of playing the following cards:

Finn's evade action and higher evade stat (base 4 but can get up to 6 via Track Shoes and Trench Coat) means he's more adept at handling enemies while investigating locations by himself. This can help with netting a free resource via Lone Wolf and/or Pickpocketing.

Because of the 2 Drawing Thin assets in play, Finn can trigger skill tests per use of Lockpicks (or Track Shoes) and easily net himself 2 cards or 4 resources. (With Track Shoes you don't always necessarily care about winning or losing the skill test.)

That can be up to an extra 1-5 resources per turn, which is great to have to pay off Lola Santiago per turn.

Drawing Cards

Digging through your deck is vital to get your rig set up, hence the inclusion of:

Use these cards to dig through your deck faster to find the cards you need faster.

Low Willpower Mitigation

Because of Finn's measly , he greatly benefits from a couple of "You handle this one!" so that others on the team can better handle treacheries (or cancel it a la Diana Stanley).

The 2 Guts and 2 Unexpected Courage are vital for passing treacheries. Keep these around for as long as possible before tossing them for an upgrade.

In all reality though, Finn is going to take his lumps, but hopefully he can mitigate the worst ones.

Upgrade Strategy

The following cards are upgraded in order of priority:
