This is my Finn Edwards Deck for "The Forgotten Age" Campaign. It uses Cards of the Core-Set, The Path to Carcosa-Set and The Forgotten Age-Set of course.

Economy:

With Lone Wolf, Dr. Milan Christopher, Emergency Cache and "Watch this!" we hopefully have a solid economy for Hard Knocks and later Streetwise. So we never should get worried about and/or skill tests. Later in the campaign we integrade the upgraded Pickpocketing for further ressources

Investigation:

Finn has an intellect value of 4 so he is just a solid dude for investigations. However to make things more easy we have Flashlight and Dr. Milan Christopher to push our investigation-skills. Later we put Lockpicks in our deck.

Fighting:

With a combat-ability of 3 Finn is a mediocre Fighter we can build on. Hard Knocks will give us extra . With Cheap Shot we push our combat skill to 7 with a chance to auto-evade. Backstab will make us 3 damage at once. Make you you power this atack up with Hard Knocks or Skill Cards like Unexpected Courage. For indirect damage Sneak Attack is a great card for finn after he made is extra evasion action. And then we have Coup de Grâce as a nice finisher. For some extra fun you could consider to put Chicago Typewriter in your deck. But its high cost and 4XP makes it really expensive. Finn's Trusty .38 will make a great job too for direct fighting actions.

Evasion / Exhausting Enemies:

Finn is a specialist in evasion with an skill of 4. In Every turn we can make an extra action using for evasion. For the extra Agility push we have Hard Knocks, Streetwise and Peter Sylvestre. For even more during evasions you could consider to put Trench Coat into the deck. When things getting hard we have Narrow Escape that can be used to evade or to fight after playing the card.

Finns biggest weakness / will:

With a of just 1 we suffer hard from encounter cards that force to make a skill test. So we have a little trick in our deck: "You handle this one!". Most failed skill tests will cause in taking horror so we have Peter Sylvestre to mitigate this effects. Some other suggestions to compensate the weakness: Logical Reasoning and Elder Sign Amulet. You can use this to make a variant of this decklist.

Upgrades: As the campaign progresses here is my upgrade-prio list:

  1. integrate Streetwise so we have this talent permanent (it doesn´t count toward your deck size) (3XP)
  2. exchange the 2 Hard Knocks for 2 Lockpicks (2XP)
  3. exchange both Pickpocketing for the much better upgraded version Pickpocketing (4XP)
  4. (optional) exchange 1 Unexpected Courage for Lola Santiago (3XP)
  5. exchange both Narrow Escape for 2 Sure Gamble to be more flexible (6XP)
  6. Exchange both Emergency Cache for the upgraded version Emergency Cache. With this you can take 4 ressources or fill up your Flashlight or the Lockpicks (6XP)
  7. (optional shenanigan?!) integrate Charisma and exchange 1 Unexpected Courage for Leo De Luca or maybe Cat Burglar

It's a very good deck for such a restricted card pool, but you cannot exchange normal cards for permanents cause they don't take a deck slot.
