Luke Returns to Carcosa

Party Composition and Roles

This is base of a clue-oriented Luke Robinson. I will be playing with Marie Lambeau [using David Renfield] and Diana Stanley [using Olive McBride] (fighting).

All of us are focusing a bit on sealing:

• The Chthonian Stone for me
• Seal of the Seventh Sign (5) for Diana - potential deck
• Protective Incantation (1) for Marie - potential deck

In playing a variation of this deck through TCU with Renfield, I found that while the consistency of two Hawk-Eye Folding Camera's was nice, in practice I only needed to get one into play for the big boosts which is why I'm not worried about running The Chthonian Stone and taking a hand slot.

General Upgrade Path

• Rite of Seeking -> Rite of Seeking (2) -> Rite of Seeking (4)
• Sixth Sense -> Sixth Sense (4)
• Fine Clothes -> Four of Cups (1)
• Ward of Protection -> Ward of Protection (2)
• Seal of the Elder Sign (5) - force an elder sign / recharge gate box

Depending on usage of Fieldwork could switch that to Shortcut (1) or Pathfinder (1). Similarly if Astounding Revelation is not triggering much could drop one out. See the other deck thoughts section for more ideas.

Other card ideas

• Sign Magick - Opens a 3rd Arcane slot (if I wanted to take Protective Incantation, which is challenging without David Renfield money
• Enraptured - For adding charges to gatebox/rite of seeking
• Book of Shadows or Book of Shadows (3) for adding charges + extra arcane slot
• Shortcut, Shortcut (1), and/or Pathfinder (1) for mobility - though Luke is pretty mobile
• Blood Pact (3) - More pumping options, might need to add Moonlight Ritual to manage doom
• Quantum Flux
• Recharge (2) - Is also interesting when paired with sealing
