Jim Culver - Music from the Underworld

Introduction

A solo deck for Jim built around Sixth Sense, Wither and Nkosi Mabati. Since this spells never run out of charges, we only need one copy of each. This in turn opens up space for other upgrades, as well as allowing us to use Underworld Support to increase our decks' consistency.

How to play

Go for 2 mental traumas with [In the Thick of It](/card/08125). [Olive McBride](/card/04197) is a great soak, while [Fearless](/card/01067) and [Jim's Trumpet](/card/02012) can heal you during the scenario.

[Blood-Rite](/card/05317) and [Arcane Initiate](/card/01063) will help us find our key spells ([Sixth Sense](/card/05322) and [Wither](/card/05321)). There are many hits in the deck for the Initiate (8 in total, plus 2 [Blood-Rite](/card/05317) after playinf [Occult Lexicon](/card/05316)), so it can pya off to keep her around for a while.

[Sixth Sense](/card/05322) in combination with [Olive McBride](/card/04197) or [Grotesque Statue](/card/60421) allowsn you to consistenly pickup 2 clues per investigate action. [Nkosi Mabati](/card/08091) makes this combos pretty safe, as the modifier for symbols becomes 0 with as our sygil.

Our economy cards are [Lone Wolf](/card/02188), [Voice of Ra](/card/60416) and ["Watch this!"](/card/03233). In my testing, I never ran out of resources to pay for my cards with these suite of cards.

Rounding the deck up, we have [A Test of Will](/card/03156), [Ward of Protection](/card/01065) and [Deny Existence](/card/05032) to help us with nasty test from the encounter deck.
