This deck is for Mary in 3-4 party setup for beginners with no taboo (as me&friends start playing just second campaign).
basic idea:
- even if Mary's 3 aren't really high, she can relly on blesses with Blessed Blade, Guard Dog or 4+: Armageddon/Shrivelling and Sword Cane;
- help your team in skillchecks, adding tokens with innate ability, Blessed Blade, Tempt Fate, Book of Psalms (and others later);
- help your team establish starting board with discounts via Rite of Sanctification;
- protect yourself (allies) from treacheries: Ward of Protection, Ward of Radiance;
- protect your clue-investigators by engaging with their enemies ("Get over here!")
- Delve Too Deep for experience for your party.
(optionally: you can swap 1-2 of them for 1-2 Overpower at the start for consistency and comfort);
weaknesses of the deck:
- slow draw. Prepared for the Worst, Guts and Tempt Fate are here to help;
- Mary's low health. Guard Dog currently is the one to guard Mary while she's guarding others;
- low . There is no solutions for it in this deck, still you can use pips on unused Rite of Sanctification, Prepared for the Worst or if really needed commit Unexpected Courage;
- Crisis of Faith. With the starting deck you rely on yet low generation, Rite of Sanctification and Mary's 9 sanity.
Mulligan:
- Nephthys is the highest priority; (if you have it)
- Holy Spear is the second highest priority; (if you have it)
- Rite of Sanctification is extremely valuable at 1st round, especially if you able to add extra to the pool (like Tempt Fate);
It's 4-10 resources discount to help your teammates get ready. - any starting combat asset (if you miss Spear):
Armageddon/Shrivelling > Blessed Blade > Sword Cane > Guard Dog; - + and control:
Holy Rosary, Four of Cups, Favor of the Sun; - draw acceleration:
Tempt Fate > Guts, Emergency Cache 2 (if get upgraded), Overpower (if you have it);

(i prefer to swap blades and keep canes as they can be held in hand until needed and also provide more consistency and evasion possibility) - Armageddon/Shrivelling Enchant Weapon (3exp) x2 = 6exp;
(as enchant make weapon occupy arcane slot, it's logical to get rid of those spells.)
