This is my first attempt at running an Ursula deck for the Forgotten Age Campaign (After failing a couple of first scenarios with Tabooed Mandy Thompson).
This deck is part of a duo with Finn Edwards.
You can find this deck here : Finndiana Jones.

The Untamed Wilds (10+2 xp)
The idea was to identify / translate as many Dream Diary / Strange Solution / Archaic Glyphs as soon as possible even though #1 scenario is fast tempo.
I managed to achieve that thanks to Truth from Fiction on Archaic Glyphs and 2 Shortcut on the last turn.
Shrewd Analysis is a gamble but the xp net was worth it.
- Archaic Glyphs x2 > Archaic Glyphs x2
- Dream Diary x2 > Dream Diary / Dream Diary
- Strange Solution x2 > Strange Solution (No luck) / Strange Solution
- Truth from Fiction > Pathfinder
The Doom of Eztli (6xp)
I thought about taking Higher Education right away but my card draw is lacking for now.
- Studious x2
Threads of fate (6xp +1xp Rougarou)
- Magnifying Glass x2 > Magnifying Glass x2
- Charisma (Important after inclusion of Alejandro Vela)
- Unearth the Ancients > Eon Chart (Preparation for future Whitton Greene)
Curse of the Rougarou (3xp)
The Boundary Beyond (5xp)
Heart of the Elders Pt. 1 (5xp)
Can't spend xp.
Heart of the Elders Pt. 2 (5xp)
- The Chthonian Stone > Jewel of Aureolus
- Fieldwork > Prophesiae Profana
- Whitton Greene > Whitton Greene
The City of Archives (12xp)
The Depths of Yoth (7+2xp)
- Fieldwork > The Eye of Truth
- Deduction > Deduction
- Perception > Forewarned
- Strange Solution > Forewarned
For the last scenario I went all-in into Chaos Bag Protection, both The Eye of Truth and Forewarned turned out useful.
We managed to get a good campaign ending even though Ancient Evils hit us hard, we did compensate with Actions Compression (Multiple clues at once, additional actions etc).
Key of Ys never showed up anytime during this campaign #sadbunny
Pros of this deck
- Dream Diary is really good for Mythos phase and paired with Archaic Glyphs for multiple clues at once (up to 4 or 5!).
- Archaic Glyphs is fantastic for vacuuming low shroud locations at once.
- Jewel of Aureolus is a really good cash machine, in this campaign we had like 3 Cultist tokens in the Bag and this procs nearly every turn.
- Dr. Milan Christopher staple as usual.
- Pathfinder constant extra mouvement is always nice.
- Strange Solution is the nice addition to take care of small ennemies or to help your partner (if not available or busy).
- Higher Education is nice if you don't starve cards and money income good.
Shrewd Analysis is an outstanding xp boost but you have the random part. It's up to you. But remember that this card takes no space at creation AND the effect is optional (You 'may') so there is no point in not including it.
Cons of this deck
- Prophesiae Profana is an expensive card (XP and cost), I think it shines in bigger maps.
- Jake Williams is really no good, can't remember playing him (No choice with Ursula but still).
- Whitton Greene I went this route instead of Dr. Elli Horowitz as a backup if I don't draw Milan but I could not get her to work as well as I did with Trish Scarborough and Segment of Onyx.
